Braziel Building Group, LLC (BBG) was built by father and son team, Kevin and John Braziel, on the success of Lawrence-Micheal Custom Homes (LMCH). LMCH was founded in 1995 by L. Kevin Braziel with the purpose of building custom homes for the region around the Magnolia area of South Montgomery County.

Braziel Building Group offers design/build custom homes on owners’ property, as well as speculative homes in select communities including Towne Lake, Rock Creek and Benders Landing Estates.

Lawrence-Micheal Custom Homes was honored in 2012 by the Greater Houston Builders Association with the prestigious “Houston’s Best Prism Award” for “Best Custom Home Design in the $400-800k” category.

Our Philosophy
We regard the building process as a personal relationship with our customers where trust, honesty and integrity are our guiding principles. We also firmly believe in transparency throughout the entire process to ensure open lines of communication and eliminate surprises. Each home is built as if it were our own, with the utmost attention to quality and craftsmanship.

Kevin Braziel has more than 35 years of experience in building homes. Exceptional achievement throughout all aspects of the homebuilding industry earned him recognition as Houston and National Builder of the Year while in top management positions.

Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southwest Texas State University in 1975 and began his career in home building in 1977. In addition, he received the designation of Graduate Master Builder by the Homebuilders Institute of the National Association of Homebuilders in May 1999. Identifying him as one of the building industry’s top professionals, this achievement has been awarded by only a few builders in the state of Texas.

His interests include building and flying remote control airplanes, gardening and participating in volunteer projects and at The Woodlands Church.

John Braziel has been employed at Lawrence-Micheal Custom Homes since 2007 after earning his undergraduate degree and MBA at Texas Christian University. He holds a Real Estate Brokers license and managed the custom home project that earned Lawrence-Micheal Custom Homes the prestigious title of “Houston’s Best Prism Award” for “Best Custom Home Design in the $400-800,000” category.
